As the house starts to get busier, there is plenty of opportunity to get to know other colivers and enjoy everything the local area has to offer as the natural world seems to come to life again.

People seeking to make new friends and connections are best suited to visiting in the summer months, and the busier atmosphere means even more activities, hikes, and day trips throughout the week. If you need to cool off, there is the above-ground swimming pool. Meals are often al fresco, and on occasion there are lunches cooked at the old stone pizza oven next door. Winter is the quietest period to come to Ruralco, and as a result, it is when the house is closed to visitors for a month or so. However, it is still possible to come here for part of the season, and the serene atmosphere is great for anybody who wants to focus on their work in beautiful surroundings—especially when the almond blossom starts to bloom (Mid Feb.- Early March). There is still plenty of opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, and there is no need to worry about feeling cold inside, as the fire in the office powers radiators in each room day and night.
